DIFFICULTY: A CHALLENGE OF SORTS
intro … It’s a rainy afternoon in New York City. Auggie is standing behind the counter of his cigar store, reading a magazine. There is no one else in the store except Jimmy, a young mentally retarded man who keeps an eye on potential thieves and sweeps the floor. The door opens and Auggie looks up to greet a customer. He can not believe his eyes. A woman he has not seen in almost twenty years has just walked back into his life. Ruby’s back, along with some surprising news, and a much less surprising request.
