home alone (8) a sudden pain

DIFFICULTY: NOT THAT HARD, REALLY

intro …Brian is in the middle of spending a week alone at home, with only his Aunt around. His parents have gone to Ireland on a two-week trip and both his sister Kate and brother Timo are out of the house. Brian ends up spending most of his time with Callie, a girl he goes to school with and with whom he also shares some interests, including a love of cats. Brian wishes he had a cat but his parents won’t let him get one. Callie on the other hand has a cat named Squirrel, but her parents aren’t too fond of him, either.
